Plymouth Port has a large modern passenger terminal with extensive vehicle-marshalling areas to ease the flow of traffic. Facilities at the port include a cafe for both meals and refreshments, a bureau de change, and a convenience store selling snacks and newspapers.

Brittany Ferries has 2-3 daily crossings to Roscoff in France, onboard the Duc de Normandie and the Val de Loire ferries (duration: 6-7 hours, 30 minutes; departures at 08:30 and 16:30). Overnight sailings from Roscoff leave at 23:30, and arrive at Plymouth 06:00 the following day. Onboard facilities are excellent, with a wide variety of food and beverage outlets available, as well as excellent entertainment amenities.

The Main Terminal provides disabled toilet facilities and good wheel-chair access, though passenger should advise Brittany Ferries in advance of any special needs.

Roscoff is a tranquil fishing village on the beautiful coast of west Brittany. Good toll-free highways connect the town with all parts of Brittany, while ferries provide access to Plymouth in the UK and Cork, Ireland. The terminal is quite limited in its range of facilities, though passengers will find vending machines as well as a small convenience store.
