The Port of Gothenburg is located on Sweden's west coast. It lies within the city limits of Gothenburg, Sweden's second largest city and its primary port. A new passenger/cruising terminal was opened in 2001, across the River Göta from the city centre, and close to road and rail connections. DFDS Seaways now operates its regular passenger/car traffic to the UK and Norway from this terminal, called Kajskjul 107. There is a cafe, departure lounge and shop selling snacks and reading materials in the terminal.
