Rail, bus and good road networks provide good access to the north of Scotland, while ferries provide onward connections to the Orkney Islands.

A regular train service links Thurso and Wick with Inverness and is timed to connect with arrivals and departures of the P&O ferry from Scrabster.

A bus link between the station, Thurso town and Scrabster is in operation for rapid passenger transfer. Bus services are also available for journeys within Caithness with direct links to Inverness and onward travel to other destinations.

Scotland has a good road network, which facilitates onward access to destinations across the UK.

Parking facilities at the terminal permit you to leave your car for a charge of around £6 per week.
