Transportation to and from the Port of Savona
Ferries connect Savona with Corsica, while excellent motorways and rail connections provide efficient links to the rest of Europe.
At a distance of 500 metres there is a railway station, with onward travel to destinations across Italy and Europe available.
The motorway is located within a kilometre of the port. It is well sign-posted and provides a link to the main transport arteries serving Italy. The motorway network allows traveller to get to France, through the border at Ventimiglia; Switzerland and Germany, through the northern Italian cities of Turin or Alessandria-Novara, and Rome and Venice through La Spezia or Piacenza.

Cristoforo Colombo airport can be reached in twenty minutes by car, as well as the Nice-Cote d'Azur Airport and the Milan Malpensa Airport (1 hour, 30 minutes by car).
By sea, passengers may travel to Corsica, with boats available to the three principle island ports: Bastia, Ile Rousse and Calvi.
There are a number of wide squares located near the terminal, where you can park for both short and long durations.
