Traveling to Port
Transportation to and from the Port of Rotterdam
The transport links from Rotterdam to other major cities in the world are impressive. The planned high-speed railway line that is to traverse Europe will stop in Rotterdam. The city also benefits from having its own airport with passenger flights to various European destinations. Travelling around in the city is easy and comfortable thanks to the extensive public transport facilities.
Amsterdam is well-connected to the rest of Europe by road. If you are arriving from Amsterdam, the A4 becomes the same road as the E19, which then changes to the A13 as you approach Den Haag. The E19-A13 freeway then leads to the Rotterdam Ring road.
