Ferry companies operating from the Port of Riga
The Baltic Kristina connects Riga with Stockholm (Sweden), up-to four times a week. The ferry departs from the Riga passenger port on Monday, Wednesday, Friday (every even week) and Saturday (every odd week), with departures at 18:00 and arrivals at 10:30. Ferries have a capacity of 512 passengers and facilities include 195 cabins, two bars, an a-la-carte restaurant and a music saloon. Tax-free shops, a casino, gambling machines and a sauna are also available onboard.
Latlines currently only services one route: Riga to Lübeck in Germany. There are four departures weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Departures from Riga are at 8:00 on Tuesday and Thursday, arriving in Lübeck at 18:00. Departures on Friday and Sunday are at 20:00, arriving in Lübeck at 6:00 the following morning. Crossings on average take 34 hours. The M/S Vilnius in Lübeck arrives and sails from the Lehmannkai 2 Terminal and the M/S Mermaid II in Lübeck arrives and sails from Lehmannkai 1 Terminal.

Currently, Riga Sea Line only services one route, the roundtrip service from Riga to Stockholm. Departing from the Passenger Port in Riga at 19:00, the ferry arrives at the Frihamnenterminalen in Stockholm at 11:30 the following morning. This service is available every Monday and Wednesday, with two additional sailings on every even week on Friday and Saturday. The journey time is 17 ½ hours. Return journey sailings from Stockholm depart at 18:00 and arrive in Riga at 12:30.
The route from Riga to Lübeck (Germany) is serviced by the Transparaden ferry with up to three weekly departures available.
Viking Lines doesn't operate a regular ferry service between Helsinki and Riga, but it does operate a number of cruises each summer from Helsinki to Riga.
Silja Line also operates a Baltic Sea cruise aboard the Silja Opera during the month of August. One of the routes is a roundtrip cruise from Helsinki in Finland to Riga.
