Transportation to and from the Port of Pula
Pula has regular bus and rail connections with all Croatian cities, while Pula airport is 5kms from the city. By sea, ferries provide international connections to Venice in Italy, while domestic services operate to Losinj, Zadar and Kooper.
If you are arriving by car, you may reach most other regions of the country by road. The M2 and E751 roads provide convenient links to other major cities in the region. The town can be reached by various means of transport, and there is an airport in the immediate vicinity of Pula (6kms), constructed to meet the requirements of international air traffic.

The rail network links all major Croatian cities, except Dubrovnik. There are direct lines to Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Yugoslavia. There are indirect lines to almost all other European countries.
There are buses from the Pula Bus Station to regional and international destinations. A very comprehensive coach network connects all parts of the country, with regular international coach services linking Croatia with all neighbouring countries, as well as Switzerland, France, Germany and Slovakia. The bus service between major cities is quite frequent, and regional services are also quite reliable.
The importance of Pula as a crossroads in the whole of Istria increased with the modernisation of the airport, which is situated on the main road (M2, E751), and connected with Divaca by a railroad.
The ferries calling at Pula port serve Venice in Italy as well as the domestic destinations of Losinj, Zadar and Kooper.
Parking is available at the port for both short and long-term stays, while disabled drivers will find designated areas available.
