Port of Portsmouth

Portsmouth is the historical home of the Royal Navy. It is situated centrally on the South coast, with excellent links to the motorway network and offers both passenger and freight services to a number of continental destination ports.
Located just to the north of the Naval Base is the Continental Ferry Port, which is the UK's second busiest port. To the south of the Naval Base by Portsmouth Harbour Station is the Isle of Wight (Ryde) Passenger Ferry Terminal. Further south again, off Gunwharf Road, is the Isle of Wight (Fishbourne) Car Ferry Terminal.
Facilities at the Main Continental Ferry Terminal includes; an information desk, a cafeteria and licensed bar, newsagent and gift shop. A cash point, bureau de change, photo booth, baby care room, payphones and public fax are also available. Situated at the end of the boarding lanes is the travel centre, which offers a cafeteria, bureau de change and motoring and gift shops.

The two Isle of Wight Ferry Terminals offer refreshment facilities, cloakrooms, public phones, disabled toilets and nearby parking.
The Main Continental Ferry Terminal provides disabled toilet facilities and low-level pay phones. Assistance is available for passengers with special needs. The Isle of Wight Terminals also provide disabled toilets and can arrange a special mini-bus service for wheelchair users upon request.
