Buses link Poole to local and national destinations, with rail connections also available. Motorways allow car owners to travel to France and the Channel Islands.

If you are arriving by car from the West, follow the A35 to Poole and then take the A350 and follow signs to 'Ferries'. From the East direct yourself along the A348 from Ferndown or the A35 from Bournemouth. Once again when you reach Poole by following signs to: Ferries.

Buses in the Poole area are operated by Wilts & Dorset as well as Yellow Buses with a comprehensive timetable. Long distance connections to Poole are operated by National Express from destinations around the UK.

By Rail trains arrive from London almost hourly, with local connections.

Ferries leave Poole for Guernsey and Jersey, as well as St Malo and Cherbourg in France.

There is a parking facility opposite the terminal. The charges for this facility are for 24-hour periods and are £5 for cars and £10 for trucks. Caravans cannot be left in the car park but can stay overnight in the car lanes for £5.
