Transportation to and from Plymouth Port
The port is positioned near efficient motorways, which offer excellent access to the rest of the UK, while sea-crossings provide transport to France and Spain.
If arriving by car, take the M5 to Exeter, then change onto the A38 - which goes all the way to Plymouth. Once in Plymouth, take the A374 and keep following directions for the city centre. As you approach the centre, signs for the ferry port are prominent everywhere.
National Express coaches operate from many towns - such as Newquay, Bristol and London's Victoria Station, into the centre of Plymouth. The Ferry Port is just a five-minute taxi run from the coach station.

Trains frequently run from London Paddington station to Plymouth (duration: 3 hours, 30 minutes). Plymouth Station is located near the city centre and the ferry port is only a five-minute taxi ride away.
Ferry crossings to Roscoff and Santander are available from the port, which provides the shortest route to France and the Iberian Peninsula.
There is a carpark located to the side of the passenger terminal for short and long-term parking, which is free of charge.
