Transportation to and from the Port of Nice

Nice port has excellent motorway connections to the rest of France, Italy and Spain, with train and air links available at Nice city.

If you are arriving by motorway from Aix en Provence, bear off at exit 50 aéroport - Promenade des Anglais and travel along the coast as far as the port. If driving from the Italian motorway, turn off at exit 55 for Nice East, and continue to Nice-centre-ville, following signs to the port.

There is a regular bus service connecting the port to the rest of the town, as well as a direct service from the train station to the port. These shuttles depart from the Nice Ville central station (SNCF), or alternatively you may walk to the port (45 minutes).

Taxis are available from the rank at Place Ile de Beauté, opposite the port's church, (tel: +33 (0) 4 93 13 78 78).

If you wish to arrive or depart by air, you will find Nice-Côte-d'Azur International Airport 7kms from the city centre, with a special airport-town centre shuttle service available (tel: +33 (0) 4 93 21 30 30).

There are 450 parking spaces available at the port, with various lengths of stay possible. There are a number of wardens on duty, who will assist you with any queries.
