Ferry companies operating from the Port of Nice

Two ferry companies travel to Corsica from Nice: SNCM Ferryterranée and Corsica Ferries. Two types of ships are available, conventional car ferries and NGV ferries (high speed). The major destinations are Bastia and Calvi on Corsica. The crossings to Bastia take 4 hours and 45 minutes on conventional ferries and 3 hours and 40 minutes on fast ferries. The Nice-Calvi crossing takes 3 hours and 45 minutes on a conventional ferry, and 2 hours and 45 minutes on the fast ferries. Up to four ferries a day operate on these routes, with more ferries departing during the summer months.

SNCM services numerous routes to and from the Corsican ports of: Calvi, Bastia, Il Rousse, Ajaccio, Propriano, and Porto Vecchio to the French ports of Marseille, Toulon and Nice. The routes from Nice to Bastia, Calvi, Ajaccio and Il Rousse are serviced once daily on the high-speed ferry. All the sailings on these routes are roughly 3-4 hours long.
