Traveling to Port
Transportation to and from the Port of Livorno
Two airports (Pisa and Florence, respectively 13kms and 80kms from Livorno) and a good motorway and railway network constitute an impressive infrastructure serving the port and city.
By road, the A1 motorway connects the port to Milan, Bologna, Civitavecchia and other major Italian centres.
The port of Livorno is located 3kms from Livorno's main railway station. The station is on the Tyrrhenian Naples/Rome/Genoa/Ventimiglia line, and is connected to main national and international lines. The Italian State Railways (FS) runs a nationwide network at very reasonable fares.
