Traveling to Port

Transportation to and from the Port of Kythira

Book Port of Kythira tickets here!

On the island there is no public transport available, so it is necessary to have your own means of getting around. By sea you can travel to the Greek mainland and to the islands of Antikythira and Crete.

The road network connects Hora with all the other villages, but caution is required on some of the rural stretches.

There are regular 45-minute flights from Athens to Kythira airport (KIT). Ferries depart regularly for Githio, Piraeus and Kissamos on Crete, calling at Antikythira en route.

Parking at the port is very limited, though motorists will find a number of parking options around the town of Hora.
