Port of Karlskrona

Karlskrona in Sweden is beautifully located on 33 islands and islets on the southeastern tip of Scandinavia. Karlskrona, which has been on UNESCO's World Heritage list since the late nineties, is a historical town, with well-preserved buildings from the town's naval history. It is also a modern IT centre and one of the Baltic's main ferryports, with frequent ferries arriving from Gdynia (Poland).
The port, which processes almost 200,000 passengers annually, offers a convenience store, a small snackbar and public telephones.
