Ferry companies operating from the Port of Kapellskär

Viking Line has a twice daily crossing from Kapellskär to Mariehamn, which takes just 1½ hours onboard the Ålandsfärjan. Times of this service vary seasonally.

Silja Line sails the Silja Europa and Silja Festival twice daily from Turku in Finland to Stockholm, with a stop at the Åland Islands en-route. The ferry reaches the Åland Islands in five hours and takes a total of 12 hours to reach Stockholm. Note that the ferry sometimes docks at Kapellskär instead of Stockholm, but there is a bus connection from Kapellskär to Stockholm.
