Traveling to Port
Transportation to and from the Port of Jersey
Ferries connect the island with a number of locations in the south of England and France, while there are also inter-island crossings to Guernsey. Roads criss-cross the island providing quick and convenient access to all areas.
As the island is quite small, 5 miles by 10 miles, everywhere may be reached within 20 minutes by car. The speed limit is 40 mph across much of the island, decreasing to 20-30 mph in built-up areas.
