Ferry companies operating in the Port of Igoumenitsa
Greek ferry company ANEK Lines offers ferry services that connect many of the Greek Islands with mainland Greece, as well as with Italian ports Ancona and Trieste.
There are daily crossings between Patras and Ancona during the summer months, calling at Corfu en route: Patras-Igoumenitsa (5 .5 hours) -Ancona (19 .5 hours from Patras). The number of crossings is reduced to six per week during low season. Crossings from Patras to Trieste are also available six times a week: Patras-Corfu (7 hours) -Igoumenitsa (10 hours from Patras) -Trieste (32 hours from Patras).
Fragline Ferries services one route, connecting the Italian port of Brindisi with Igoumenitsa, calling en route at Corfu. There are daily sailings during the height of the summer months - either a morning or evening sailing - while sailings out of season are reduced to two or three crossings weekly. Departing from Igoumenitsa, the journey takes roughly 2 hours to Corfu and another 7 hours to Brindisi. Night crossings take just over 8 hours from Corfu to Brindisi. Passengers must arrive at the terminal 2 hours prior to departure time.

Ventouris Ferries services Bari in Italy and travels via Corfu to Igoumenitsa. Sailings are available onboard the F/B Polaris and the F/B Pollux. There are two daily departures during the high summer season, with three weekly sailings during the low season. Crossings take 12 .5 hours to reach Igoumenitsa and 11 hours to reach Corfu.
Blue Star Ferries operates sailings on the Patras-Corfu-Igoumenitsa-Venice route (four sailings per week), and also on the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Ancona route (daily). A further crossing is made to Italy via Brindisi, on the Igoumenitsa-Corfu Brindisi route (daily except Monday).
Agoudimos Lines has crossings to Brindisi in Italy from Igoumenitsa, up to six times a week during the winter months (except Wednesday), with daily sailings during the high season. Sailings average 8 hours, but may be delayed in adverse weather.
Anek Lines operates ferries on two different routes from Igoumenitsa: Igoumenitsa-Ancona and Igoumenitsa-Patras. There are daily departures on both these routes during the summer season.
Hellenic Mediterranean Lines has crossings from Igoumenitsa to Brindisi in Italy three times a week during low season, and up to six times a week at high season, with a journey time of 9 .5 hours.
Maritime Way also has sailings to Italy, from Igoumenitsa on two routes: Patras-Igoumenitsa-Brindisi and Igoumenitsa-Corfu-Brindisi. During the summer season, there are almost daily sailings on these routes, with reduced crossings during the winter.
Minoan Lines has both domestic and international routes from Igoumenitsa. The Patras-Corfu-Igoumenitsa route is serviced three to four times a week during low season and six times a week during high season (no sailings on Monday). The total journey takes 8 hours. On the international route, Ancona and Venice are connecting with Greece: Patras-Igoumenitsa-Ancona and Patras-Corfu-Igoumenitsa-Venice. On the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Ancona route, there are daily sailings throughout the year. Departures are at 18:00 from Patras, arriving in Ancona at 12:30 the following day. The entire journey takes 28 .5 hours.
Superfast Ferries connects Igoumenitsa with Bari and Brindisi in Italy. The daily Igoumenitsa-Bari sailing takes 9 .5 hours. The Igoumenitsa-Brindisi route is serviced once daily and stops at Corfu en route. The journey time is 8 .5 hours.
