Good rail, bus and motorway access are available, with sea-crossings to both Dun Laoghaire and Dublin in Ireland.

The A55 provides fast access to the island of Anglesey from North Wales, or from the south you can take the A5 through the North Wales mountains.

Holyhead is on a main rail line with connections and services operating from most parts of the UK (four hours from London; two-and-a-half hours from Manchester).

There are regular buses and coaches to Anglesey and Holyhead from England and Wales. On Anglesey itself there is a local network of buses, which service all parts of the island.

Ferry crossings run between Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire, located just five miles outside Dublin city centre in Ireland, as well as a crossing to Dublin Port, in the city centre.

Car parking is available in the free of charge short-term and the park-and-ride carparks, and long-term parking is available for a fee.
