Stena Line connects Holyhead with Dublin with two daily crossings. Journey time is 3 hours on the Stena Superferry. The second route out of Holyhead is to Dun Laoghaire, also in Ireland, with four daily crossings onboard the Stena HSS Fastcraft. Journey time is 1 ½ hours. Check-in times are 30 minutes prior to departure for the HSS Fastcraft and 45 minutes for the Superferry.

Irish Ferries has five sailings a day between Holyhead and Dublin onboard the Jonathan Swift (just under 2 hours sailing time) and the Ulysses cruise ferry, the largest car ferry in the world, (sailing time of 3 hours and 15 minutes). Both vessels take passengers and vehicles.
