Port of Helsinki

Helsinki port is the largest in Finland, and the second largest in the Nordic countries. The Port of Helsinki specializes in unitized cargo traffic, but also has more than nine million passengers passing through the Port each year. Ferries connect the port to Estonia and Sweden, with frequent sailings to both destinations.
Most ferries depart from terminals at South Harbour which is located 2kms from the city centre. There are good facilities at the port, with a number of shops available, as well as a cafe and a pleasant departure lounge.
