Traveling to Port
Transportation to and from Folkestone
The nearby M20 and A2 offer good road access to the port, with buses running frequently to London. Rail connections are also available to London Victoria, while ferries connect to Boulogne in France.
By car, you will find Folkestone on the South East coast in Kent, situated between Dover and Dungeness. Follow routes for Dover via the M20 or A2 until signposts mark turnoffs for Folkestone. Once in Folkestone, the ferry port is well signposted.
There is a direct rail link running to and from London Victoria and London Charing Cross stations. The main railway station in Folkestone is about 2kms from the port, which is just a 10-minute taxi ride away. There is also a station at the harbour where some trains arrive from London Charing Cross.

A direct coach service operates from London Victoria coach station as well as many other towns and cities around the country. From the main bus station in Folkestone town, it is a 15-minute walk or a five-minute taxi ride to the port.
Ferries run from Boulogne to Folkestone, connecting the port with France several times daily.
Once at the harbour, you will find short and long-term parking facilities available, and further parking lots away from the port, in the town itself.
