Dun Laoghaire

Dun Laoghaire is a large town and seaport located in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains in Ireland. Dún Laoghaire is on the coast about 7 miles south of Ireland's capital, Dublin, and provides an excellent location from which to commence your travels in Ireland.

The port terminal provides comprehensive facilities with an information booth provided by Dublin Tourism (Mon-Sat, 10:00-18:00). A bureau de change is also available (Mon-Fri 09:00-16:00), while the Harbour Gifts and Newsagents provides newspapers and Irish souvenirs (open daily 09:00-16:00 and 19:00-21:00). There is also a left-luggage facility (open daily from 09:00-22:00), and other facilities include a Euro Change Machine, a PhotoMe booth, a postcard booth and Internet access.
