Port of Cuxhaven

Cuxhaven is a seaport town in Germany, belonging to the state of Hamburg, and situated at the extremity of the west side of the mouth of the Elbe, 71 miles by rail northwest of Hamburg. The port is an important trading link for Germany, with a passenger ferry connecting the port with Harwich in the UK.

The facilities at the port aren't extensive, though you will find a convenience store and a number of vending machines selling hot and cold refreshments.
Passengers with disabilities are advised to contact DFDS prior to travel, if they have any special needs. There are a number of cabins for those with disabilities, while the terminal building is wheelchair accessible and has disabled toilets.
