Traveling to Port
Transportation to and from the Port of Calais

The road and motorway networks in France and the UK provide fast and easy access from all areas to the ports of embarkation, while frequent sailings connect Calais and Dover around the clock.
The quays of the Port of Calais are directly linked (via the new autoroute bypass) to the European motorway network by the A26 (Calais-Dijon) - which serves the centre of France and offers access to southern Europe, avoiding Paris. The A16 connects to the Benelux and Northern Europe motorway systems.
Trains operate daily between Calais and Amiens, Boulogne, Etaples, Le Touquet, Lille and Paris. A free bus service operates daily, taking you to and from the ferry port to Place D'Armes and the central Calais-Ville railway station in Calais-Sud.
