Ferry companies operating from the Port of Calais

The only French company operating daily ferry services from Calais to Dover is SeaFrance Ferries. Crossings in both directions are available almost every hour of the day. Departure time is 13:10 with the SeaFrance Rodin and 13:30 for all other vessels.

Hoverspeed provides the fastest crossings across the English Channel, with journeys taking an hour. The company has 15 return crossings to Calais from Dover per day, 364 days per year.

P&O Ferries' new Pride of Canterbury, which can carry 2,000 passengers and 650 cars, came into service on the Dover-Calais route recently. The crossings take 75 minutes, with departures every hour of the day. Passengers are advised to check-in 30 minutes prior to departure.
