Port of Cairnryan

Cairnryan port is situated on the northern edge of Loch Ryan in the south west of Scotland, with more than a seven sailings a day to Ireland. Having received a £4.5 million investment from P&O Irish Sea Ferries, the port now provides excellent facilities and services for both passengers and freight.
Facilities at the new P&O Terminal include improved check-in desks and procedures, as well as a comfortable reception area, an efficient baggage handling area, a children's play area, provisions for the disabled and baby changing facilities. Refreshment is available at a Fables Snack Bar, and a shop in the terminal sells snacks and newspapers.

Passenger space and facilities are limited on a number of the current P&O Irish Sea ferries, and hence may not be unsuitable for people with disabilities. An update on this situation is available by contacting P & O Irish Ferries (tel: 0870 2424 777). However facilities at the terminal itself are in compliance with international standards, with good wheelchair access throughout the facility.
