Transportation to and from the Port of Bergen

The train and bus stations are both situated on Strømgaten about ten minutes south of the harbour. There are also direct ferries to Bergen operated by Fjord Line (Denmark and the UK) and P&O Ferries (the Shetland Isles and Scotland).

Bergen has a good bus network with a free bus (route 100) running between the bus station and the Galleriet shopping centre.

The Bergen Flesland Airport is located 15 km south of the city centre, with an airport bus available every 15 minutes from the city centre.

The ferry links provide connections to Thorshavn on the Faroes, Reykjavik in Iceland, as well as Newcastle in the UK, the Shetland Islands and Hantsholm in Denmark.

Parking is available for both short and long-term stays, and is located near the terminal building.
