Traveling to Port

Transportation to and from Port of Belfast

Book Belfast Port Ferry Tickets here!

As Belfast Port is located near the centre of the city, it is within reach of excellent transport links to the rest of the island, via train, bus and motorway. Passenger ferries provide sea connections to Scotland and the UK.

If you are travelling by car, you will find Belfast Ferry Port situated close to the City Centre, with west Belfast easily reached from the port by following the West Link motorway as far as the Falls Sliproad.

There is no train link to the port, however you may catch a bus from outside the terminal. Laganside Bus Centre is only a five-minute walk away from the passenger Terminal and the Belfast Central railway station is a fifteen minute walk from the Passenger Terminal.

Taxis meet most arrivals, and are available from outside the terminal building. Short term parking facilities for set down and pick up only are provided at the Passenger Terminal.

Passenger ferries connect the port with Stranraer, Troon, Liverpool and Heysham.
