Calais is one of northern France’s premier seaside resorts and offers great beaches, clear seas, family entertainment venues, myriad restaurants and good nightlife. Calais International Station has onward TGV and SNCF services that give access to other French and Belgian destinations. On Eurostar trains there are two buffet cars which serve delicious snacks, hot and cold beverages, and alcoholic drinks. Passengers travelling on Eurostar’s two premium classes, Leisure Select and Business Premier, are served with free drinks and meals at their seats.
Eurostar to Calais International Standard Class and Leisure Select passengers have to check in thirty minutes prior to departure, while for Business Premier there is only 10 minutes required before boarding. With such short check-in and travel times train is the best way of getting from the UK to France.
