Silja Line network
Silja Line services the Helsinki-Stockholm route onboard the Silja Serenade or Silja Symphony. Ferries depart once daily from Helsinki and call at Mariehamn of the Åland Islands en-route, before docking in Stockholm the following morning. Departing Helsinki at 17:00, the journey to Stockholm takes 20 hours, 30 minutes, while the journey as far as Mariehamn takes 11 hours, 15 minutes.
There are daily sailings onboard the GTS Finnjet from Helsinki to Tallinn in Estonia, with a journey time of 3 hours, 45 minutes. This ferry departs in the evening from Helsinki and arrives the next morning in Tallinn. A faster sailing is offered onboard the SuperSeaCat Three and Four, with a journey time of just under 2 hours. These ferries sail the route five times daily in the summer and three times daily in the winter.
There are three crossings per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) between Helsinki and Rostock in Germany, with a call at Tallinn en-route. The journey to Rostock takes 24 hours, though it reaches Tallinn just 3 hours after departing Helsinki.

The Silja Europa and Silja Festival each sail twice daily from Turku in Finland to Stockholm, with a stop at the Åland Islands en-route. The ferry reaches the Åland Islands in 5 hours and takes a total of 12 hours to reach Stockholm. Note that the ferry sometimes docks at Kapellskär instead of Stockholm, but there is a bus connectiong from Kapellskär to Stockholm.
Silja Line also operates a Baltic Sea cruise aboard the Silja Opera during the month of August. There are three roundtrip routes to choose from: Helsinki-Tallinn, Helsinki Riga (Latvia) and Helsinki-St. Peterburg (Russia).
