Norfolk Line's business can be divided into two distinct areas: passenger transport and freight operations. The core activity of the company is the rapid movement of freight within Europe. It is one of the leading operators of dry-cargo freighters, containers and terminals on the continent.

Established in 1961 and headquartered in Scheveningen, on Holland's eastern coast, Norfolk Line employs over 1,400 persons and boasts more than 40 offices throughout Europe. The company currently owns 10 vessels, with over 150 sailings a week of freight and passenger traffic. With a customer base of more than 5,000 companies in their freight business, the company has an annual turnover of NLG 1 billion.
