Fragline Ferries

Fragline Ferries was established in the 1950s by Captain George Fragoudakis and headquartered in Athens, Greece. Initially, the focus of the company was to provide passenger transport domestically in Greece, connecting the Greek mainland with the Cycladic islands.

In the 1970s, the company added new vessels to its fleet and was able to expand its scope to include ports in Italy as well. Because of this, Fragline Ferries has been able to establish the now well known 'sea-bridge' system between Greece and Italy.

The company takes pride in an excellent system of ship maintenance, continuous crew training and hands-on involvement of senior management in issues concerning the safety, reliability, punctuality and Greek hospitality aboard all its vessels.

Fragline Ferries is still family-owned and is currently managed by Fragiskos Fragoudakis, who adheres to the company founder's business philosophy of focusing on an ever-improving system of sea-passage. The company has transported over 3 million passengers since 1971.
