Eckerö Line

Eckerö Line Ab Oy started as a regular ferry cruise service between Helsinki, Finland, and Tallinn, Estonia, in August 1994. The company is headquartered in Helsinki and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eckerö Group (Rederiaktiebolaget Eckerö, based on Åland Islands) with other subsidiaries: Eckerö Linjen's, which operates a ferry service between Åland and Sweden; the travel agency Ålandsresor; and the bus company Williams Buss. Eckerö Linjen owns two vessels: the M/S Roslagen and M/S Alandia, both with the capacity to accommodate over 1,200 passengers.

Eckerö Line's M/S Nordlandia is one of the biggest passenger ferries sailing the Baltic Sea, with a capacity of 2,000 passengers. The company focuses on both passenger and freight traffic between the two countries, with this one vessel.
