Blue Star Ferries is one of the principal ferry operators in the Adriatic and Aegean. It offers many routes around the Greek Islands, as well as links with the Greek mainland and the east coast of Italy.
Connections with Italy are primarily to and from Ancona and Venice: Ancona- Igoumenitsa-Patras (daily service, 20 hour crossing); Ancona-Igoumenitsa (daily sailings, 16 hours); Brindisi-Corfu (8 hours), Brindisi-Igoumenitsa (9 hours, 30 minutes); and Venice-Igoumenitsa (25 hours, 30 minutes), Venice-Corfu (27 hours, 30 minutes), Venice-Patras (35 hours).

There are also a wide range of domestic routes, including sailings in the Ionian Islands and the Cyclades. The routes currently in operation are: Patras-Cephalonia (2 hours, 30 minutes), Patras-Ithaca (Pissaetos or Vathi; 3 hours, 15 minutes), Patras-Corfu
(4 times weekly, crossings take 6 hours, 50 minutes); Piraeus-Chania (5 hours, 45 minutes);
Piraeus-Heraklion (6 hours, 10 minutes), Piraeus-Schinousa (6 hours, 25 minutes), Piraeus-Koufonissi
(7 hours), Piraeus-Amorgos (7 hours, 45 minutes), Piraeus-Siros (3 hours, 40 minutes), Piraeus-Paros
(4 hours, 40 minutes), Piraeus-Naxos (5 hours), Piraeus-Ios (6 hours, 30 minutes), Piraeus-Santorini (7 hours, 40 minutes); Rafina-Andros-Tinos-Mykonos (daily sailings reach Mykonos in 4 hours, 25 minutes); Rafina-Tinos-Mykonos-Paros (daily sailings on the Seajet 2, 4 hours to Paros); Piraeus-Syros-Tinos-Mykonos and Paros-Naxos (6 hours, 40 minutes to Naxos); and Piraeus-Syros-Paros-Naxos-Ios-Santorini (daily departures, 7 hours, 25 minutes).
